On the back of state issued driver's licenses is a bar code that is encoded with data about the owner of the license. Name, age, birthdate, gender and drivers license expiration date are just a few of the encoded bits of data.

The 2D bar code is read by our custom scanner, and the necessary data transferred to our web based application where the age is verified, and other identifying data is extracted and presented to the user of the system.
